Prithviraj Sukumaran

Prithviraj Sukumaran (born 16 October 1982), credited mononymously as Prithviraj, is an Indian actor, playback singer and producer best known for his work in Malayalam films. He has also acted in a number of Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films and has been described as one of the few actors in India who is able to achieve pan-Indian appeal.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=What does Bollywood have against the south Indian hero? )
Prithviraj made his debut in Ranjith's ''Nandanam'' (2002) at the age of 19. His major films include ''Classmates'', ''Puthiya Mukham'' (2009), ''Anwar'' (2010), ''Indian Rupee'' (2011), ''Ayalum Njanum Thammil'' (2012), ''Celluloid'', ''Mumbai Police'', ''Memories'' (2013), ''7th Day'', ''Sapthamashree Thaskaraha'' (2014), ''Ennu Ninte Moideen'' (2015) and ''Amar Akbar Anthony (2015). Prithviraj has won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actor in 2006 for his performance in ''Vaasthavam'' and in 2012 for ''Ayalum Njanum Thammil'' and ''Celluloid''.〔(Celluloid actor Prithviraj bags the Kerala State Film Awards ). ==Early life ==
Prithviraj Sukumaran was born in Thiruvananthapuram to actors Sukumaran and Mallika Sukumaran. His initial schooling was at Shrine Vailankanni Senior Secondary School, T. He completed the rest of his school education at Sainik School Kazhakoottam and Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan, Thiruvananthapuram. Prithviraj, along with his brother Indrajith Sukumaran. While pursuing his bachelor's degree in Information Technology at the University of Tasmania, Australia, his father died and he came to Kerala. Then he was spotted by film director Ranjith Balakrishnan to play the lead role in his film ''Nandanam''.〔
〕 It was AM Fazil, a well known Malayalam film director, who introduced him to Ranjith.〔 After his performance in ''Nandanam'', he decided to take a break from studies to concentrate on his film career.
Prithviraj Sukumaran's elder brother Indrajith Sukumaran and sister-in-law Poornima Indrajith are also Film Actors.
